The different workshops are briefly described below.

The kit as well allows creating and customizing your own assembling without any constraint.

Workshop 1 – What is a robot?

A workshop which is at the same time simple and fun and that leads you step by step to the construction of your first edge detector robot having an elephant shape mounted on wheels. This activity allows you to get familiar with easy concepts and parts composing a robot!

Workshop 2 – How is a robot using energy?

Thanks to the assembling of a windmill robot providing energy, you easily understand serial / parallel assembling mechanisms as well as energy creation through mechanical aspects.

Workshop 3 – Infrared sensors

How can a robot see? The answer is given through practical exercises linked to infrared sensors that are key  elements in robotics. What is an infrared sensor? How can a robot avoid obstacles? The answer is given thanks to a full functionality robot!

Workshop 4 : Sound distribution

You already know a robot can see but can it hear something? The question is answered by this seal robot. Follow the guide, it is as simple as finger snap or in this specific case as hand snap!

Workshop 5 – You to play!

Let your creativity be expressed thanks to this relaxing workshop allowing to understand mechanisms and constraints of a robot construction related to sensors and motorization.

Workshop 6 – At High Speed

This small workshop goal is to build a miniature car able to drive on a straight line. A very playful way to  teach speed concept related to robots.

Workshop 7 - Navigation

Time for us to build a real racing car. A wacky racer which knows how to stick on the road! This workshop helps you understand the functioning of a robot able to follow a black line drawn on the floor as well as to learn more about inertia. A little robot dog is your companion thanks to this workshop!

Workshop 8 – Increasing / Decreasing speed

Do you want to discover a robot which is able to increase or decrease its speed following events? This is the main topic of this 8th workshop that allows to understand such reaction possibility through a little mouse robot reacting when you clap your hands.

Workshop 9 – Saving energy

How can a robot store and save energy? One of the main problems of today’s robotics through a very simple assembling.

Workshop 10 – Your own robot !

At this stage you play at an expert level. Build a robot coming straight from your imagination on a step by step way!

Workshop 11 – Walk forward !

Mastering running and walking through the construction of a robotics insect doted of 6 legs you have to make move forward!

Workshop 12 – When strength meets strengths

More complex, this workshop opens on strength notions. Scaling, Direction, additions and subtractions on strengths: thanks to this grasshopper robot, those notions become a real child game.

All those workshops are described a step by step way in the provided booklet. The booklet as well describes mechanisms such as programming and main principles related to sensors. Kit contains (in addition to the booklet) more than 100 parts, two motors as well as a controller with integrated sensors.
