The MatataStudio Activity Box is an extension compatible with the Talebot Pro and Talebot Basic robots, designed to enhance play and coding sessions for children aged 3 to 9. The Talebot robot detects the interactive cards and stickers using an optical ID sensor located underneath the device, and responds with voice prompts, instant feedback, error alerts and celebrations when milestones are reached. The kit covers 10 themes spread across 5 double-sided interactive cards, 98 stickers and 32 command cards, combining coding with science, language, social studies, maths, socio-emotional development and art.

The child places an interactive card on the floor, puts the Talebot on top of it, and the robot recognises the theme via its optical sensor. It guides the child with voice prompts, celebrates correct answers and flags up errors to adjust the route. Using the blank card and the free-form stickers, the child can also invent their own scenario and create an original story to explore with the robot.
