Aqara FP400 spatial presence sensor
The Aqara FP400 is a 60 GHz mmWave radar presence sensor capable of detecting a person even when they are standing still. It can track up to 10 people simultaneously and determine their position in the room using a multi-zone detection system. Its artificial intelligence also helps filter out false detections caused by animals or moving objects.
You can create up to 8 detection zones and link each one to different automations. The FP400 operates without a camera and does not capture any images. Compatible with Zigbee and Matter over Thread, it integrates with Apple Home, Google Home, Amazon Alexa, Samsung SmartThings and Home Assistant, amongst others.

- Detection even without movement: the radar detects a person sitting, lying down or working, even when they are not moving.
- Multi-person tracking: the FP400 can track up to 10 people simultaneously in the room.
- Up to 8 detection zones: define different zones such as the sofa, the desk, the entrance or the hallway, and assign them their own automations.
- 60 GHz mmWave radar: this detection technology determines the presence and position of people in the room.
- Artificial intelligence: the AI filters out false detections caused by pets, robot vacuum cleaners or moving objects.
- Wide coverage: detection covers up to 8 × 10 m with a maximum range of 10 m.
- Camera-free operation: no images are captured, thereby protecting privacy.
- Zigbee and Matter over Thread compatible: the sensor integrates with the main compatible home automation ecosystems.
- Versatile installation: the FP400 can be wall-mounted at an angle or ceiling-mounted.
- Continuous power supply: the sensor operates continuously via USB-C without the need for batteries.
You can install the FP400 in your living room to trigger an automation when you sit down on the sofa, or in a hallway to control the lighting based on your presence. In a kitchen, bathroom or office, it can also track people present and transmit the necessary information to your automations without using a camera.
