This micro:bit V2 starter kit is the ideal kit to get you started without waiting to discover the new BBC micro:bit card. It consists of a BBC micro:bit V2, a 1M USB cable, a battery pack and 2 AAA batteries. Connect your micro:bit to a computer via USB cable. Once the batteries are charged in the battery pack, unplug the BBC Micro-bit V2 card. This kit is supplied in an organic bag that closes with cords and can be used as permanent storage for the kit components.

The new micro:bit V2 is the latest version of the programmable handheld computer, created to encourage children to write their own software and create new things that will be controlled by the card. Same size, shape and way of working as the V1, so regulars won't be disturbed. Write your code using one of the easy-to-use editors provided on the micro:bit website.
