The Timekettle W4 Plus Lifetime are AI translation earphones based on the proprietary Babel OS 3.0 system, with no subscription or recurring fees. They support 52 languages and 106 accents online, and 13 language pairs offline. They feature bone conduction technology combined with two microphones and the VoiceFocus algorithm, delivering 90 per cent capture accuracy even in noisy environments or during whispered conversations.

Four translation modes cover all scenarios: face-to-face (One-on-One, one earpiece each), listen and speak (Listen & Play), voice calls or online meetings (Voice Call Translation, optional) and multimedia translation (Multi-Media, optional). Optional advanced AI features enable the translation of specialist terminology across five sector-specific profiles, session recording and real-time summaries.
The charging case weighs 116.5 g with the earbuds, offers 12 hours’ total battery life (3 hours of continuous translation using the earbuds alone) and charges in 1.5 hours via USB-C. OTA updates are free and ongoing. The product is GDPR and FERPA certified. Transmissions are end-to-end encrypted, not stored and not used for model training. Available in Sandy Gold, Midnight Blue and Space Black.
How the Timekettle W4 Plus supports international business communication
In an international meeting, you and the person you’re speaking to each wear a W4 Plus earpiece in One-on-One mode. The conversation is translated in real time in both directions without the other party needing an app or any additional equipment. During a video conference, Voice Call mode translates the conversation in both directions directly from your Zoom or Teams call. At a seminar, Listen & Play mode allows you to listen to a speaker whilst asking questions in your own language, with automatic summaries recorded for review after the meeting.
