The MatataStudio MT3-5 is a digital biological microscope featuring a 7-inch 1080P IPS touchscreen that rotates 135° for easy sharing of observations. It can be used straight away without any installation. Equipped with four objectives (4x, 10x, 40x and 60x) and an 8MP sensor, it achieves a maximum digital magnification of 1600x displayed on screen, allowing you to observe living cells, bacteria, pollen or paramecia. Its mechanical X-Y stage with 1.0 mm resolution allows for precise sample positioning.2>
The dual LED lighting system (top transmitted light, bottom incident light) allows for the observation of both opaque objects and transparent samples. It offers a touch-based measurement function directly on the screen or via the MatataXplore app to measure radius, length, angle and distance, with data export to Excel. It takes photos and videos in 1080p HD and connects via HDMI, USB or Wi-Fi to a phone, computer, tablet, television or projector; it is compatible with Android, Windows and iOS. Its actual viewing angle is 178°.

In the classroom, pupils place a sample on the stage, adjust the focus using the coaxial wheel and observe directly on the touchscreen without having to look through an eyepiece. They measure the size of a cell by touching two points on the screen, capture a 1080p photo and share it in real time via Wi-Fi on the MatataXplore app for group analysis or export to Excel.
