MatataStudio Inventor Kit for VinciBot: 5 programmable electronic modules and a Link Module

The MatataStudio Inventor Kit is an electronic extension for the VinciBot robot that adds five programmable modules: a 360° digital servo, a temperature and humidity sensor (DHT11), a joystick, an LED strip and a rotary angle sensor. A Link Module allows you to connect third-party sensors compatible with Arduino and Micro:bit to further expand the kit’s capabilities. The five modules are programmed via the dedicated section of the VinciBot graphical platform. The kit includes 128 building blocks, a manual with seven step-by-step case studies, a USB-C cable and craft paper to enhance your projects.

Inventor Kit VinciBot MatataStudio

How the Inventor Kit enhances the VinciBot for exploring electronics and programming

  • 360° digital servo for animating mechanisms with programmable continuous rotation
  • DHT11 temperature and humidity sensor for environmental measurement projects
  • Joystick for controlling the robot or interactive game elements
  • Programmable LED strip for customising the lighting of constructions
  • Rotary angle sensor for position detection projects
  • Link Unit module to connect third-party Arduino and Micro:bit sensors and expand possibilities
  • Graphical programming dedicated to the 5 modules via the VinciBot platform
  • 128 building blocks to integrate the modules into physical structures
  • Construction manual with 7 step-by-step case studies to guide beginners

Children follow the 7 case studies to assemble their first electronics project step by step, connecting the temperature sensor and programming an LED strip that changes colour according to the measured value. Using the Link Unit module, they then connect an Arduino sensor of their choice and integrate it into their VinciBot programme to create a personalised project that goes beyond the guided case studies.
