The :Move line tracking card for BBC micro:bit can be used to add line tracking to your micro:bit robot or buggy projects. However, if you plan to use it with the :MOVE mini, you will need to purchase the line tracking accessory specifically designed for the :MOVE mini, as this kit does not include the necessary fixtures for this model.

The board is designed to track either a dark line on a light background or a light line on a dark background. For best performance, it is recommended to maintain a gap of about 5 mm between the bottom of the board and the surface it is riding on.

The sensitivity of the line tracking can be adjusted using the two pots on the board, one for each sensor. These same pots can also be used to change the type of line that will be tracked: turning the pot clockwise will cause the board to detect darker lines, while turning it counter-clockwise will cause it to detect lighter lines.

The card operates at a voltage of 3V and has a maximum current of less than 1mA. Two output channels are available via a 5-pin output with the following configuration: 0V, left sensor, 3V, right sensor, 0V.
