Programming is done in Scratch and Python via the coding.matatalab platform, which includes 75 guided activities, activity cards and an online help centre for teachers. The robots are expandable and compatible with LEGO bricks and third-party electronic modules.

In class, each group of two pupils has a VinciBot. Beginners start with pre-configured modes without coding, whilst the teacher prepares their lesson plan using the coding.matatalab platform. More advanced pupils open Scratch, select one of the 75 available scenarios and programme their robot to avoid obstacles or detect colours. At the end of the session, each group puts their equipment away in the communal bin.
