A built-in LCD screen displays the power output in real time and shows you the optimal positioning of the panel in relation to the sun. When folded, it measures 23.6 x 2.3 cm (width 23.6 cm) and weighs 910 g. When unfolded, it reaches a length of 88.7 cm. It is splash-proof and resistant to light rain with an IPX4 rating, and attaches easily to a rucksack thanks to the integrated carabiner and mount.

When hiking, you attach the SolarBooster to the back of your rucksack during the ascent. The panel captures the sun’s rays whilst you walk and charges your smartphone or power bank without you having to stop. When you arrive at camp, the LCD screen shows you the power generated and you can adjust the panel’s angle to maximise charging before nightfall.

Can I charge a power bank with this panel?
Yes. The two USB-A and USB-C ports allow you to charge a power bank or a smartphone directly, depending on what you connect.
Does the LCD screen show the battery level?
No. The LCD screen only displays the solar power generated in real time and the optimal positioning of the panel. The SolarBooster does not have a battery indicator as it does not store energy.
Can it be used in the rain?
It is IPX4-rated, which means it is splash-proof and resistant to light rain. It is not designed for immersion or prolonged exposure to heavy rain.
Does it charge on cloudy days?
Solar output depends directly on sunlight. On overcast days, the power generated will be reduced and charging will be slower. The LCD screen shows you in real time how much power the panel is generating.
