The MatataStudio Artist Add-On is an extension for the Coding Set that enables the MatataBot to physically draw geometric shapes, letters and numbers on paper, using angle tiles ranging from 30° to 150°, washable Crayola felt-tip pens and 3 warm-up cards featuring 6 guided activities.
Fun Drawing ABC and Numbers activities included to explore lines, angles and geometry for children aged 5 and over.
The MatataStudio Artist Add-On is an extension for the Coding Set that enables the MatataBot to physically draw on paper: geometric shapes, letters, numbers and freehand figures. The kit adds angle tiles (30°, 36°, 45°, 60°, 72°, 108°, 120°, 135°, 144° and 150°) to the existing set of cards, enabling users to programme precise rotations and explore the concepts of geometry, lines and angles in a hands-on way. Three warm-up cards with six guided activities introduce the concepts in a step-by-step manner.
Two sets of themed activities, ‘Fun Drawing ABC’ and ‘Fun Drawing Numbers’, enable children to trace letters and numbers. Crayola washable felt-tip pens are included for drawing directly from the robot.
MatataBot Artist Add-On Coding Set, angle tiles from 30° to 150°, Crayola washable felt-tip pens, 3 warm-up cards and geometry activities for children aged 5 and over.

Children place a sheet of paper on the mat, insert a felt-tip pen into the MatataBot’s holder and programme a sequence using the angle tiles. The robot traces the corresponding shape onto the paper. A square requires four 90° tiles, whilst a five-pointed star requires angles of 144° and 36°. Each programme produces a tangible result that makes geometry concrete and memorable.
