ENGINEER KIT 2 also allows user to fully integrate 3D printing capabilities by providing STL (CAD) files to create their own robotic exemples. WARNING : Robotis ENGINEER KIT 2 requires components from the Robotis ENGINEER KIT 1 in order to assemble the example robots.

Robotis Engineer Kit 2

The KIT ENGINEER 2 is equipped with a Raspberry Pi camera and a Raspberry Pi Zero board for vision processing. In addition to the vision processing capabilities with the Pi camera, ENGINEER KIT 2 includes Python programming content allowing users to program their robots in Python to participate in education, recreation, entertainment and competition.

Robotis ENGINEER KIT 2

MAX-E2 humanoid robot

MAX-E2 is a high-performance humanoid robot developed specifically for competition. Equipped with a camera, the MAX-E2 provides remote control, facial recognition and other vision processing capabilities. Powered by DYNAMIXEL, the MAX-E2 is capable of 18 degrees of mobility.

  • Remote control: control and change MAX-E2 in different modes like Combat / Soccer and others.
  • Streaming: control the robot by watching videos taken by the Raspberry Pi camera on your smart device and selecting buttons.
  • Face: some movements like greetings are available by face detection using the Raspberry PI camera.

Commando Robot

Commando is an autonomous artificial mobile robot that uses its camera to detect different colors, codes and lines.

  • Remote control: control and command of movements, directions, cameras, etc. Select [WHEEL SPEED] to change the speed of the robot.
  • DEMO - Line drawing mode: commando recognizes red, blue and green lines to draw them.

Scorpi Robot

Scorpi is a reactive bio-mimetic robot that can interact with nearby objects thanks to the DMS-80 (distance measurement sensor). Thanks to its parallel link structure, Scorpi can perform fast and dynamic six-legged walking movements.

  • Remote control: control Scorpi's movements, direction, speed and various movements with the tail and claws.
  • Gesture: After starting the gesture mode, hold the screen of the smart device up. In this state, tilt the device to move the robot. If you shake the device hard, the robot attacks by moving its tail.
