The Sphero littleBits Code Kit is a coding and modular electronics kit designed for the classroom, enabling pupils to create games and inventions whilst exploring programming and engineering concepts. It includes 16 littleBits modules and 24 accessories, including a programmable Bluetooth code bit module with live sensors. The activities are supported by the free Fuse app and the littleBits Classroom platform, with over 100 activities and 10 structured lessons aligned with Common Core, NGSS and TEKS standards.
The modules snap together magnetically without soldering or complex wiring. A kit can be used by a single student or by groups of two to three students. It comes in a durable storage tray to make organisation and storage in the classroom easy.
littleBits 16-module coding and electronics kit, Bluetooth, real-time sensors, programmable, 100 activities and 10 lessons included via the Fuse app and littleBits Classroom, aligned with Common Core, NGSS and TEKS.

In science or technology lessons, pupils assemble the modules by following the guided lessons on the Fuse app. They program the bit code, test their invention, observe the sensors live on the screen and adjust their code based on the result. At the end of the session, each module is returned to the storage tray in a matter of seconds.

Is there a charge for the Fuse app?
No. The Fuse app and access to littleBits Classroom are free.
Do you need prior programming knowledge to use this kit?
No. The lessons are designed for complete beginners. The progression of the 10 lessons and 100 activities guides students from the basics to more complex projects.
Is a single kit enough for a whole class?
Each kit is designed for a single student or groups of two to three. For a class of 20 to 30 students, several kits are required depending on the chosen working method.
Is the kit compatible with other littleBits modules?
Yes. The Code Kit modules are compatible with the entire littleBits library, allowing projects to be expanded with additional modules.
