When hiking, you attach the SolarBooster to the back of your rucksack and it captures the sun’s rays whilst you walk. Upon arrival at camp, the LCD screen shows you how much power the panel is generating, and you can adjust its orientation to maximise charging before nightfall. Two devices can be charged simultaneously without having to choose which one to prioritise.

What is the difference between this and the SolarBooster 28W?
The 14W model is lighter (537 g compared to 910 g) and more compact when unfolded (45 cm compared to 88.7 cm). Its output power is also lower: 10.5 W per port compared to 15 W on the 28W model. It is suitable for short trips or for users who prioritise weight in their bag.
Can you charge a power bank with this panel?
Yes. The USB-A and USB-C ports allow you to connect a power bank or a smartphone directly, depending on your needs.
Does the LCD screen show the battery level?
No. The screen only displays the solar power generated in real time and the optimal positioning of the panel. The SolarBooster 14W does not store energy.
Can it be used in the rain?
It is IPX4-rated, which protects it from splashes and light rain. It is not designed for prolonged exposure to heavy rain or for immersion.
