DJI Mini 2: small, light and high performance 4K drone

The DJI Mini 2 has great wind resistance and can fly up to 16 meters per second in Sport mode. It will hover in force 5 winds (about 38 km/h) and remain stable.

DJI Mini 2: main features

OcuSync 2.0: OcuSync 2.0 is the radio and video transmission system that allows a very good range (about 6 km) in addition to providing a smooth and responsive video return in Full HD 30p.

4K video at 30 frames per second: It is possible to film in 4K 24/25 and 30p or in 2.7K 24/25/30p (as with the DJI Mavic Mini) and in FullHD 24/25/30/48/50 and 60p. This new DJI drone is equipped with a 1/2.3-inch 12-megapixel CMOS sensor, but it has been upgraded from the older version of the Mavic Mini to improve image quality.

Zoom x4: The digital zoom of the DJI Mini 2 is x4 in FullHD, x3 in 2.7K, and x2 in 4K. Since the drone's CMOS sensor is well designed, this zoom does not result in any significant loss of quality. You won't have to move the drone to get the perfect image, making it easier to arrange your photos and movies.

New remote control: The DJI Mini 2 drone's remote control is significantly larger than the DJI Mavic Mini's, but it has several advantages, including smartphones above the control joysticks, antennas built into the housing, and significantly better ergonomics.

DJI Mini 2: photos and videos

The camera of the DJI Mini 2 drone has a resolution of 12 megapixels. You will be able to take single shots or at intervals of 2, 3, 5, 7, 10, 15, 20 and 60 seconds. This is the ideal option for creating timelapses. This operation will be possible in JPEG and RAW. If you want to edit your photos, the RAW format will give you more options. You can set the interval between 5 and 60 seconds in RAW.

The DJI Mini 2 drone allows you to do Auto Exposure Bracketing. The drone will then take 3 pictures successively and adjust the exposure compensation automatically for 3 different shots. You can also make three different types of panoramas automatically: Sphere, 180° and Wide.

This Mini 2 drone allows you to film in 4K quality with a resolution of 3840 by 2160 pixels at 24 to 30 frames per second. It also has a 2.7K resolution of 2720 by 1530 pixels at 24 to 30 frames per second. Finally, FullHD (1080p) allows you to shoot at speeds ranging from 24 to 60 frames per second at a resolution of 1920 by 1080 pixels. All at a rate of 100 Mb / s.

QuickShots are built into the DJI Mini 2 drone to help you quickly produce dynamic and immersive movies. Dronie, Helix, Rocket, Circle, and Boomerang are the five that are offered (caution, microSD in the drone required). These pre-recorded video clips can be posted to social media almost instantly.

Flight modes and piloting of the DJI Mini 2

The automatic intelligent flight mode allows the drone to perform a series of actions and movements autonomously, so you keep all the attention on the photo/video and can regain control at any time.
