With its new Tello Education drone, DJI proposes to use the drone as part of the programming training. A new way to learn how to program and test programming by experiencing it directly in the air. Several Tello Edu drones can be programmed simultaneously by a single device.
Image processing, development of artificial intelligence, simplified block programming for beginners or more complex and complete programming for advanced programmers... DJI's Tello Education drone offers you a new way to learn coding by Scratch, Python or Swift depending on your level and that of your students.
DJI's Tello EDU UAV is a new programmable UAV that will allow novices in the field to learn programming. This tool dedicated to the field of education makes it easy and fun to learn the programming languages Scratch, Python and Swift, which are recognized and widely used in the 21st century.
The Tello EDU UAV has an updated SDK 2.0 but also comes with various advanced controls and numerous data interfaces. This educational UAV is equipped with DJI flight control technology and therefore has an electronic image stabilization function.
It is also possible to write code to command several drones to fly in groups and thus develop surprising artificial intelligence (AI) functions.
Simplified programming
Tello EDU supports block programming. Simply drag the coding blocks on the screen to program and activate certain movements. In addition, the Tello Space Travel tutorial teaches you how to use the Swift programming language to code on your iPad with a fun scenario. This space adventure is available via the Swift Playgrounds application.
Advanced programming
Mission Pads allow novices to acquire better programming accuracy. They serve as benchmarks and trigger mechanisms. You can write a code that will allow your Tello Edu UAV to recognize the unique ID of each Missions Pad, as well as perform aerial acrobatics.
