Dynamixel Servomotor AX-12A
Dynamixel AX-12+ actuators are among the most efficient actuators on the market. The AX-12+ servomotors are controlled by a 1Mbaud serial link and can be connected to each other to create servomotor chains (Daisy-Chain). Up to 254 servomotors can be connected in series to the Dual-POB with a single cable.
These motors have a resolution of 1024 steps and a speed that can also be adjusted to 1024 steps. In reading, it is possible to know their current position, speed, torque, etc. Thus, it is possible to detect contact with an obstacle, wheel slippage or the presence of a slope without additional sensors.
